    Carrying on the Pioneer’s Cause and Forging Ahead in the Future

    新中国成立以后，党和国家领导人多次接见参加过京汉铁路罢工的老工人，并勉励他们的后人继承先辈遗志，发扬团结互助、无私无畏的革命精神。而承载着“二七”历史的郑州二七纪念塔自落成对外开放以来，每天吸引着大量的海内外游客，搭建起郑州与国际交流的桥梁，成为进行爱国主义教育的红色亮点。这座有着3600多年历史的古城，伴随着改革开放的脚步，发生了翻天覆地的变化。在这里，古都与新区相交辉映，古代文化与现代文明绵延承继，呈现出日新月异的勃勃生机。
    After the foundation of People’s Republic of China, leaders of the central government and CPC have visited in person the workers participating in February 7th Strike and praised their great revolutionary morale. February 7th Memorial Tower has received a great many domestic and international visitors each day and has become a bridge in international exchanges and a base for patriotic education. Zhengzhou, an ancient city with a history over 3600 years have witnessed transforming changes, where new districts coexist harmoniously with the old buildings, ancient culture with modern civilization and Zhengzhou has shown great vitality.
